Power Management

IED302TC

RS485, MODBUS and Sub-measurement by CTs

IED302TC is an interesting addition to Khomp’s power management line, offering robustness and even more measurement possibilities by bringing together three forms of data telemetry.

It allows you to take measurements for Group A customers — with the measurement on user exit function. You can also connect MODBUS devices to collect operation data and send them to the cloud. And you can even measure single-phase, two-phase, or three-phase systems through direct connection with CTs.

Connectivity is also provided via 2G, 3G, or Ethernet network interfaces.

Applications

  • Telemetering systems of Group A power companies
  • Telemanagement of solar plants
  • Communication with market inverters
  • Monitoring of power generation and consumption in plants with solar inverter
  • Cost apportionment for shared environments
  • Reading of machinery data through the use of current transformers

Magnitudes that can be measured:

  • Current flow up to 1500 A with a precision of 0.5%
  • Single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase measurements
  • RMS voltage and current
  • Active / Reactive / Apparent power
  • Power factor
  • Active / Reactive / Apparent energy
  • Phase angle (average and instantaneous)
  • Also Extended, Mixed and Quantity Standards
  • Fundamental active power
  • Harmonic active power
  • Harmonic voltage rates and current up to the 32nd power
  • THD (Total Harmonic Distortion)
  • Tariff points
  • Frequency: 45–65 Hz
  • Reading of ABNT 14522 protocol data
  • Reading and writing via MODBUS RS485
  • Reading through the use of current transformers (CTs) and writing in memory at configurable intervals
