Appliances, which model is right for your business?

Khomp has a complete line of Appliances so integrators can develop their products on a single platform with centralized management, low initial investment and customizable design. Recently the line, in addition to new models, has gained an upgrade in scope.

Previously intended for the creation of telephony applications such as PBX, IP PBX, VoIP gateways, URA, DAC, line tapping and call recording, among many others, the Appliances line EBS Server now has integrated server configurations with a manageable gigabit switch for the Development of network and security applications.

The new EBS Server models

Two new models have joined the line: the EBS Server 40 and the EBS Server 10. Like the EBS Server PRO, these models integrate a CPU for processing and storage with a gigabit switch, which can have 4, 5 or 8 network ports. Ideal for network and security solutions, these templates enable the creation of applications such as firewalls, proxies and file servers. External EBS modules can be added gradually through the network ports without losing the telephony applications.

The differences between these two models consist of their appearance and the use of their enclosures: while the EBS Server 40 is intended for a standard 19 ” rack with 1U height, the EBS Server 10 has a standard ATX power source with a 220 / 110V selector switch in one desktop cabinet with specific measurements (380 x 92 x 185 mm).

The EBS Server PRO, in turn, gained new variations in its composition. Developed to meet the needs of markets that require rugged hardware, the EBS Server PRO has an integrated switch with 8 to 13 manageable ports, dispensing with the need for other equipment connected to the network, which allows for the development of a server based on a single piece of compact hardware. Integration with telephony interfaces is done in up to 8 modules of the Khomp EBS line, making the EBS Server PRO ideal for scenarios that are designed for gradual expansion of telephony interfaces. EBS Server PRO also provides 5 different processing and storage configurations so that the equipment meets the optimal standard of your solution.

EBS Server Modular, E1/T1 and GSM: the Khomp appliances you already know

The other models that make up the Khomp Appliances line have integration with telephony interfaces in the cabinet itself and are suitable for the development of applications for this purpose. With EBS Server Modular, 3 telephony interfaces can be selected from any combination of: 1 or 2 E1/T1 links, 4 FXO analog line interfaces, 1 or 2 GSM channels and 8 FXS interfaces. This composition allows for the creation mainly of gateways for conversion of calls and PBX for reducing company costs with telephone calls.

EBS Server GSM and EBS Server Light are exclusively for GSM and E1/T1 applications respectively. The EBS Server GSM has a capacity for 1 to 16 GSM modules with an easily removable front for installation and exchange of SIM Cards. Each GSM module handles up to 2 SIM Cards from different carriers, allowing for selection of active the SIM card. This configuration enables the completion of GSM calls by the same carrier, reducing the value of telephone charges to the promotional prices of the same carrier. The EBS Server Light is available for purchase with 1 or 2 E1/T1 links, with support for R2D and ISDN signals, integrated with the CPU processor for a complete hardware unit.

For a solution that is fully customized by the integrator, the Appliances line is available for customized OEM – Original Equipment Manufacturer acquisition.
